The challenge
To design a seaside house whose architecture is entirely dedicated to light — not as decoration, but as a core concept, the very purpose of the building itself.
The design response
The concrete structure is made as light as possible, freeing itself from traditional load points to become a screen that modulates light penetration according to the hour and season. The volumes open, fold, and pierce to capture, filter, and redistribute the seaside light into every living space. Featuring rooftop photovoltaic panels and solar water heaters, the house is fully energy self-sufficient.
