The Challenge

Revamping a best-seller without compromising what made it a success: this was the demanding challenge Radian entrusted to us in a commercial lighting market undergoing rapid technological change. We had to design a commercial office luminaire capable of providing high-quality direct and indirect lighting that integrates seamlessly and discreetly into workplace environments.

The Design Solution

An extremely slim profile that plays with transparency. Tréma uses optical innovation to diffuse a uniform, soft light without glare. When the luminaire is turned off, its diffuser panel becomes transparent—the object almost disappears, freeing up the visual space. Its clean geometry structures the workspace without ever visually cluttering it.

The collection—floor lamps, wall sconces, and pendant lights—is built using a modular design with a minimal number of parts, all of which are fully recyclable. Its architectural and timeless design has opened up markets far beyond the commercial sector: high-end hospitality, Housing, Public Spaces
