The Challenge
A Shenzhen-based startup had developed innovative technology for analyzing indoor pollutants via a smartphone. The challenge was to give this invisible technology a physical form that would make it appealing and understandable to the general public.
The Design Solution
A simple, streamlined form discreetly incorporates the porous surfaces necessary for air circulation, without any technical elements being visible. The object takes a back seat, allowing its function to speak for itself. End-to-end product design project from creative research to 3D modeling, including the development of technical principles and oversight of the manufacturing process.
