Koh Samui Resort

Garden villas resort — Koh Samui, Thailand

The challenge

To design a luxury residential complex on the island of Koh Samui, integrating severe tropical climate constraints, exceptional acoustic requirements, and absolute respect for the natural landscape.

The design response

An organic architecture facing the horizon. This high-end resort project prioritizes lightweight structures in constant dialogue with the island’s topography. Designed to adapt to environmental realities and international development cycles, the master plan preserves the privacy and acoustics of interior spaces while opening up to the wild nature.

The project brings together a collection of private garden villas, each brought to life by the sound of its own streams and pool waterfalls, connected by an aquatic restaurant set on the water like a botanical observatory. The volumes are simple, materials are refined and local, and tropical vegetation acts as the true architect of the space.
