The Challenge

To design a range of seating whose form would be both distinctive and adaptable—armchair, two-seater sofa, three-seater sofa—by exploring asymmetry as a structural and aesthetic principle that allows for a variety of sitting and reclining positions.

The Design Solution

OO’s asymmetrical forms create naturally comfortable positions for everyone, tall and short alike. The continuous line defining the backrest and armrests is achieved through meticulous work on the foam and internal structure. A complete design project from creative research to 3D modeling, engineering, and industrial development oversight.
