The city in glass
The challenge
As an extension of the Amiens street furniture program, to design a range of glass benches and urban equipment capable of transforming the public square into a luminous kaleidoscope, while meeting the strict strength and safety requirements of public spaces.
The design response
The seating is made of indestructible laminated glass that diffuses both natural and artificial light. Kiosks and waste bins become transparent volumes that reflect and amplify the surrounding square. At night, the entire installation transforms into a light display. Full mission encompassing concept, engineering, and technical development follow-up.
