The challenge
Steris, a world leader in operating room equipment, wanted to explore a new generation of modular radio-surgical lighting — more adaptable to operating room configurations and more precise in the quality of light delivered.
The design response
A modular system whose components assemble according to the needs of each operating room: orientation, intensity, and head combinations. The shape integrates the hygiene and sterilization constraints specific to medical environments without sacrificing the clarity of the surgical procedure. Conceptual and technical foresight study.
