Pendant light defying the laws of gravity for office lighting
The challenge for this Led suspension collection was to find a subtle wow effect, a magic in an illusion of technical impossibility, since the luminaire had to be held up by a single point.
We proposed a structure whose asymmetrical shape would normally have tilted, but which remains upright thanks to complex work on the weights of the materials, with a result that seems to defy the laws of gravity.
We took charge of the concept and design, from competitive analysis and creative research to 3D definition. We developed the detailed engineering, did the sourcing and monitored the manufacturing process.
